National home care provider and franchisor Caremark Ltd has just completed another successful franchisee training course, with new business owners now preparing to operate in the Oxford and Guildford & Woking territories.
Rakesh Mazumdar, Caremark (Oxford) commented “The training was fantastic! There was so much to take in and the fact that I was able to take it all in is testament to how well the training has gone.”
The two week residential course is delivered at Caremark’s Central Support office by a team of dedicated industry professionals and is designed to comprehensively cover the delivery of the service and all aspects of business development. New franchisees cannot prepare to launch their new businesses without first successfully passing all aspects of the course, a course which will test the candidate’s knowledge of the industry, the Caremark system as well as their understanding of business growth and development.
New franchisees for Caremark (Guildford & Woking), David and Deborah Porter reflected “It has been quite an intensive course, but really good and very enjoyable. We are now going forward feeling confident in what we have learned and how to apply it in our business – in fact, we are ready and raring to go!”

The new Caremark franchisees will be joining a continually growing network of nationwide offices, who currently deliver care and support services to adults, young people and children in need, enabling them to remain living independently at home. The new offices will be concentrating initially on providing home care to older people within their respective territories of Oxford and Guildford & Woking.
“My immediate plans now are to utilise my Regional Support Manager, who has already given me so much advice, to help me get the ball rolling” concluded Rakesh Mazumdar.
Following completion of their training, the new Caremark franchisees will be busy preparing their new offices whilst going through the process of registration with the Care Quality Commission, without which they cannot trade.
